Zugspitze
Are you looking for a particularly memorable experience? Then don't hesitate to head up the Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany at almost 3000m.
The cog railway will bring you from Gramisch to near the peak in a little bit over an hour. There you have a fabulous view over four countries and the possibility to walk on the glacier.
