Sport and Activities

You certainly won't have a chance to get bored during your holiday on the Seefeld plateau. In summer and in winter you can choose from a wide range of sports and activities that offer something for everyone. The sunny Olympiaregion is dieal for both active sports people or for those who are just looking for a relaxing time.

For example, there are more than 650km of walking trails waiting to be explored of all ranges of difficulty. If you want something a bit more sporty try the 266km of Nordic walking and running trails.

The plateau is a true paradise for mountainbikers and golfers. The Golf Academy is in the centre of the village while the Wildmoos course is set in romantic scenery. Bathers can choose from idyllic spots such as the Wildsee or the Möserer See.

Rosshütte in the summer

A natural paradise in summer and winter

It's not for nothing that the Seefeld plateau is thought of as the most beautiful cross country skiing area in the world - 262km of well-prepared trails are ready for you. The two ski areas on the Rosshütte and the Gschwandtkopf are only a few minutes from the village centre, while the beginners' area on the Geigenbühel and Birkenlift is in the heart of the village and easy to reach on foot. Your children will find it great to learn here.

Many guests love Seefeld because of its winter walking trails. The mostly sunny weather and the cleared and marked trails invite you to explore the plateau on foot even in winter.

Those interested in culture can also find plenty to do. In half an hour you are in the Tyrolean capital of Innsbruck with its historic old town. And the Schwaz Silver Mines and the Swarovski Crystal Worlds are only a few kilometers further away. If you are interested in richly-decorated castles, then try a trip into neighbouring Bavaria.
