The Seefeld plateau with its main destination Seefeld is a real pearl in the Alps. Despite its long tradition as a resort, tourism in this area has retained the contact with its roots. Here locals take time to give their guests a real welcome.

Seefeld is located at over 1200m in the middle of a wonderful selection of mountains. The alpine climate is mild and sunny. The more than 3000 inhabitant prize the quality of life here and the excellent infrastructure on the plateau.

Travel to Seefeld is easy by car or train. The international airport at Innsbruck is only 24km away and 30 minutes from the Seefeld plateau. Our tip: reserve your transfer from airport with us when you make your hotel booking.

You don't need a car in the village, though. In winter the free ski buses will take you to the different ski areas and there is also a free shuttle bus around the village. The regional bus ticket for the plateau only costs 10 Euros. These give you the right to use the public buses on the plateau as frequently as you want during your stay.

Don't miss the highpoint of the Seefeld nightlife - the highest casino in Austria. The casino, at the start of the pedestrian area, is known as the most welcoming in the world, helped by its elegant atmosphere and the range of games of chance on offer.
