Mountain Lifts
Seefeld is a place with a lot of shortcuts: you don't, for example, have to travel a long way to reach the surrounding mountains. From the Seefeld hotels it's only a few minutes to the base station of the Rosshütte or Gschwandtkopf lifts. And the Kreith lift in Leutasch is only ten minutes away by car or with the regional bus service.
Our guests love a trip up the Gschwandtkopf or to the Kreithalm (with its summer toboggan run) because of the fabulous views from the top out into the rest of the Olympiaregion. If you want to get higher, then take the Rosshütte mountain railway. In only seven minutes the train climbs from 1200m to 1760m, and in a further five minutes' cablecar ride up to 2100m. An experience not to be missed.
Of course, all three lifts are great options for starting a walk in the mountains.
